AR6200 FAQs

A small amount of AR6200 Fuel Treatment is added to every tank of fuel to boost performance, ensure fuel quality and protect the fuel system from wear, deposit formation and corrosion. AR6400 (D or G) is designed to be added in large doses to remove existing deposits from your fuel system and engine.

AR6200 will help to prevent some issues with ethanol fuels including issues with deposit formation and fuel stability. AR6200 will also help prevent microbial growth and corrosion which can occur in the presence of ethanol.

No, AR6200 does not offer any anti-gel protection. Use AR6300 Winter Diesel Treatment for anti-gel protection.

Most fuel additives reviewed are compatible with AR6200. AR6200 is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents and acids. Please email tech@archoil.com if you would like product compatibility reviewed.

AR6200 will be stable indefinitely if kept away from sources of heat and sunlight.

Omg.. Can’t believe how effortless our TDI Dmdrives

Started w the every 5,000 treatment first. Then began adding the fuel additive (along w friction modifier. Our TDI TOUAREG accelerates so effortlessly now. Great products, highly recommend. Now using on an Outback too.

Archoil AR6200

Very satisfied with the results of one month of use so far. The engine runs noticeably smoother and I have also noticed an improvement in gas mileage. I have already bought two extra bottles to have when mine finishes. Highly recommend this product

Great product and customer service

I have been using Archoil products for 7 years, both diesel and gas. I have never had an EGR issue on my 2011 RAM with over 160000 miles. The gas formula works great for storing fuel, too. Best of all is the customer service. I had some issues when shipping was damaged, and Archoil quickly fixed the issue. Also, I have called with questions and received great information. Keeping fuel-powered devices running in Alaska can be challenging with our extreme conditions, and their products greatly help. Thanks for being a great business with a quality product.

The Viagra for diesel engine

I was a bit skeptical of the fuel additive as the requirement is so little but it made a huge difference in performance. I understand that it also helps with emission but I have not direct experience at this time ... Overall, I am quite pleased....
